Juxtaposed still-life objects provide a starting point for exploring and developing your own unique style of abstract painting. Through exploratory drawings using collage, line, colour and shape, you will develop compositions that can be transformed into finished paintings.
Abstraction offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with visual pleasure, observation and automatic techniques. By simplifying and transforming the shapes, lines, colours and textures of objects, you can create a new visual world of colour, form and space.
