Eclectica Art Awards
The Eclectica biennial art prize is back in 2026 with a different approach. We are creating a two-part exhibition, opening it up to non-members and allowing our visitors to judge the major prizes instead of a judge.
We are offering two major cash prizes, both based on people’s choice judging. Our two-part structure is focused on size of works. In the three downstairs galleries we accept 2D work up to a metre in any direction and pottery pieces to fit on a plinth space of no larger than 50cm square. In the upstairs gallery we accept works no larger than 30cm in any direction and pottery that will fit into a display box 30 x 37cm. Artists will only be allowed to enter one work in each space.
Entries close 13 November.

Hidden Talents
It should not be surprising to learn that staff at The Cooroy Butter Factory are also artists. Even though we teach, organise and market our local artists we also get to make our own art in our non-work time.
Whether we are talented or not (we like to think we are) we are definitely hidden. This exhibition puts us in the spotlight for a change.
Works in 2D and 3D by Kevin Wilson, Fiona Groom, Sophie Chegwyn, Greg Hamilton, Helen Price and Tracey Richards.

The Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre aims to provide a friendly and supportive environment to both new and established artists working in any media. We welcome exhibition proposals from artists, collectives and curators for group or solo exhibitions in one or a combination of our gallery spaces. With new exhibitions opening every four to five weeks, we regularly feature solo exhibitions and curated group exhibitions.
